The T-bar row is a compound exercise targeting the back muscles, particularly the lats, rhomboids, and lower traps. It's performed using a T-bar row machine or a landmine setup. The user places one end of a barbell into a corner or specialized holder and loads weight plates onto the other end. While straddling the bar, they bend at the hips and knees, grip the handles or the barbell with an overhand grip, and pull it towards the abdomen, retracting the shoulder blades.
